Ridge Kids
Ridge Kids is a way for the younger children of CRUMC to learn about God and the Bible and experience Christian fellowship with one another and our local community.
In order to make this a safe and happy experience for everyone, the Ridge Kids created and agree to obey the following:
General covenant:
- Watch for and obey the leaders' request for quiet (clapping signal and hand signal.)
- Respect the leaders and our fellow Ridge Kids. This means
- We pay attention.
- We don't interrupt others when they are speaking.
- We keep our hands to ourselves.
- We don't tease.
- We don't call people names
- We don't yell.
- We don't roughhouse, push or shove.
- We don't spit.
- We respect church property. This means
- We clean up after ourselves if we spill or make messes.
- We clean up after snack time.
- We put supplies away.
- We don't run or rough house in the church or Fellowship Hall.
- We respect other people's property.
- We do not tattletell unless someone is doing something which could harm themselves or otherselves.
Trip/Special Events:
- We respect any adults/chaperones and obey them.
- We obey any rules/regulations of the place we are visiting.
- We don't yell or scream in the bus or cars.
- We wear our seatbelts. This means no standing up, running around while vehicles are in motion
- We stay with our group. We do not wander off by ourselves.
We understand that if we do not follow these rules, it may mean
- We may be placed in time out.
- We may be given assigned seating.
- The leaders may talk with our parents about our behavior.
